Small wind turbines made of wood, in the kW range will:

– Remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere when the tree for timber grows

– Put an end to the global energy crises

– Save the environment

– Produce short travelled energy, near the consumer. No need for expensive grid upgrade

– Be affordable for consumers

87% of carbon dioxide (CO2) emission emitted from the combustion of fossil fuels.
Over 40% of energy-related CO2 emissions are due to the burning of fossil fuels for electricity generation.

Fun and encouraging facts:
4 billion of the small 16m2, 3 kW windturbine (annual production of 6-7,000 kWh), will more than double the global electricity production from ~25,000 Terawatt/hour (TWh) to more than 50,000 TWh/annum.

The total price tag will be $ 8 Trillion (~ $1,000 per capita in huge volumes) and create millions of jobs.
